A quick blurb on Mascara (from the tutorial)

Good morning!

Here is the close up of my lashes from the tutorial, I do not have any liner on.
On my right eye (which would be the left side of the picture) I have applied the Size Queen mascara by Two Faced.
On my left eye (which would be the right side of the picture) I have applied L'Oreal Voluminous.

You can see the difference in length and thickness between the two eyes. The Two Faced product, which is in the $20 price range thickens and lengthens much more than the L'Oreal mascara.

That being said, I think the L'Oreal product does a good job for the cost. I can usually find it for around $8. I have found it at Target for $5 and some change in the past. Shop around to get the best prices.

Well that's it. I just wanted you to be able to see the difference. Thanks for reading!

Until next time.

  1. I really like comparison pictures. It helps show how truly different two products can be. I would appreciate it if you would post more pictures like this. Thank you.

  2. Wow! What a difference between the two. I think that $5 is way more my price style. I am going to look at Target. You should do a mascara review, I want to know what is the best one out there for it's price.

  3. Your eyelashes are really long so you can wear the volume stuff. I need something more 'cause I have short stumpy ones.

    1. I have a close friend with very short lashes and her favorite everyday mascara is Skyscraper by Urban Decay. It does an awesome job elongating her lashes. Give that one a try. If you want something more affordable and are ok with less dramatic results then try L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion. Look for my upcoming post on Mascara which will have the best in each category.

  4. I would pay for the better product, always! You pay for what you get.

    1. I agree 100% but not everyone can afford a $20-$50 mascara.
